Kuwait Weddings : Riji and Melween
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
Being oceans apart (literally), a decade worth of sleepless nights, countless hours of talking and video chatting, several arguments and peaceful reconciliations brought these two lovely beings to the altar, where they made the giant commitment to continue to spin the yarn of their love story that God first spun.
Their Hebrew inscription on their wedding rings "Ani l'dodi v'dodi li" (I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved is mine) from Song of Solomon 2:16, proves how their love for each other is absolutely an artwork of God.
A peacock themed wedding that took less than month to be planned by the Bride, exhibited such uniqueness and proved to be a very sensational event on a beautiful sunny afternoon of 30th November 2013. Their First Dance was a stunning one as the couple decided to do something out of the ordinary, Waltz, ending with a hilarious performance by the bridesmaids & groomsmen. If there's anything to remember of this wedding, that would be the Sand Ceremony and the Infinity Chest Ceremony!
Happy viewing! Maraming Salamat Po!
